Our Story

Driver & Butler was founded in 2017 in Nantes, in the heart of the Loire-Atlantique region. Born from a simple conviction — that a journey should never be just a transfer — we set out to build a chauffeur service that treats every passenger as a guest, every route as an experience.

What started with a small fleet between Nantes Atlantique Airport and the city centre has grown into a comprehensive premium service covering airports, train stations and private residences across France and neighbouring European countries.

Nine years on, the original philosophy remains unchanged: the car is a space for thought, for rest, for conversation. Our role is to make it as pleasant, safe and memorable as possible.

2017

Foundation in Nantes. First airport transfers at Nantes Atlantique (NTE).

2019

Fleet expansion and first long-distance intercity routes. Launch of the corporate programme.

2021

International coverage extended to Belgium, Switzerland and Spain.

2026

Launch of ESUS V3 — full digital booking, real-time tracking and PWA mobile app.
