Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport and Lyon-Part-Dieu station
Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport (LYS) is in Colombier-Saugnieu, about 25 km east of Lyon. Since 1 April 2026, Terminal 2 has been closed for works: all departures and arrivals use Terminal 1. Airport transfers to and from the city centre or Part-Dieu station are charged at a fixed price (see the sample prices above).
Give your flight number when you book: your chauffeur tracks your actual arrival time. As an option, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. The airport also has its own high-speed rail station, Lyon-Saint-Exupéry TGV.
Lyon-Part-Dieu station (5 place Charles Béraudier, 3rd arrondissement) is the busiest station in France outside the Paris region. Its renovation opened the new Béraudier hall in 2024 and the new forecourt in 2025. Since 17 August 2026, the drop-off area of the Villette P2 car park has been suspended for works, and private hire vehicles now use the Galaxie P3 car park; P2 will close completely from January to April 2027. Give your train number when you book. You can follow your flight or train live on our flight tracking and train tracking pages.
Business travel, meetings and conferences (MICE)
Lyon hosts conferences and trade fairs throughout the year. The Lyon Convention Centre, 50 quai Charles de Gaulle (6th arrondissement), is part of the Cité Internationale, between the Rhône and the Parc de la Tête d'Or: 24,000 m² of flexible space, three auditoriums with 300, 900 and 3,000 seats, and 35 meeting rooms. Eurexpo, the exhibition centre, is in Chassieu, south-east of Lyon: 150,000 m², seven halls and a 4,200-seat auditorium. It hosts Sirha Lyon, the food service and hospitality show, in late January (next edition in January 2027), and Equita Lyon in late October – early November.
The Part-Dieu district, around the station, is the largest business district in France outside the Paris region, with the Incity and Part-Dieu towers. At the southern tip of the Presqu'île, the Confluence district is home to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional council and the Musée des Confluences.

Extend your business trip: bleisure around Lyon
A meeting on Friday, one more day in the area: with a chauffeur at your disposal, here are a few ideas around Lyon.
- Lyon itself: the historic site (Vieux Lyon, Fourvière, the Presqu'île and the slopes of the Croix-Rousse) has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.
- Beaujolais, north of Lyon: the Pierres Dorées area, with its villages of golden limestone, and the ten crus, including Fleurie, Morgon, Moulin-à-Vent and Brouilly. Beaujolais nouveau is released on the third Thursday of November.
- Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu: vineyards on the west bank of the Rhône, opposite Vienne, about 30 km south of Lyon.
- Pérouges: a medieval walled town listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, 30 km north-east of Lyon. Try the local galette de Pérouges.
- Annecy, Geneva and Chamonix: Lake Annecy, Geneva Airport and Chamonix at the foot of Mont Blanc, all reachable in a single ride (see the sample prices above).
Highlights of the year: Jazz à Vienne, in the Roman theatre, from late June to early July, and the Fête des Lumières, four days around 8 December.
