Bourges station and the Paris airports

Bourges is not on the TGV network. A few direct trains a day link Paris-Austerlitz with Bourges station in about two hours; other journeys involve a change, often at Vierzon. The station is also on the Nantes – Lyon Intercités line, via Tours, and has regional trains to Orléans, Nevers and Montluçon. It lies just north of the historic centre. Give your train number when you book: your chauffeur follows your actual arrival time.

Bourges has an airport, but no scheduled flights serve it at present. Arriving by private jet? We can pick you up there too.

For scheduled flights, the airport most travellers use is Paris-Orly, reached via the A71 and then the A10 motorway. Paris-Charles de Gaulle, further away, handles most long-haul flights. We cover both at a fixed price (see the sample prices above): door to door, with no change of train and no luggage to carry. Give your flight number when you book: your chauffeur tracks your actual landing time. As an option, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign.

You can follow your flight or train live on our flight tracking and train tracking pages.

Business travel, meetings and conferences (MICE)

Les Rives d'Auron, 7 boulevard Lamarck, bring together the Bourges conference centre and exhibition park, on the banks of the Auron, a few minutes from the centre. Its modular halls and rooms host seminars, trade fairs, conventions and shows, and parking is free.

Bourges is also a hub of the defence industry, with a site of the missile maker MBDA and a test centre of the French defence procurement agency (DGA). It has also been named European Capital of Culture for 2028: a year that promises plenty of events and visitors.

For companies, agencies and event organisers:

  • transfers between the station, the Paris airports, hotels and event venues, in sedans and vans;
  • chauffeur by the hour or by the day, on request, for back-to-back meetings or visits;
  • corporate account with monthly invoicing and negotiated rates;
  • Factur-X (EN 16931) electronic invoices and the carbon footprint of every ride, calculated with the ADEME method.

For an event or regular volume, tell us what you need on our business and partners page.

Extend your stay: heritage, wine and the flavours of the Berry

The former capital of the Berry, Bourges is best explored on foot, and the trip extends nicely by car. A few ideas with a chauffeur, for lovers of history, Loire white wines and good food.

  • Saint-Étienne Cathedral, begun in 1195 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992, is one of the great Gothic masterpieces of France; admire its stained glass, visit the crypt and climb the 65-metre north tower.
  • The Palais Jacques-Cœur, home of King Charles VII's treasurer, completed around 1453: a model of late-medieval civic architecture, open to visitors.
  • The marshes (les marais): more than 135 hectares of gardens and canals in the heart of the city: a peaceful walk just a short way from the cathedral.
  • The Nuits Lumière: from May to September, at nightfall, a free trail of about 2 km, marked with blue lights, brings projections to the façades of the old town.
  • The Printemps de Bourges, a music festival founded in 1977, fills the whole city every April; it celebrated its 50th edition from 14 to 19 April 2026.
  • The vineyards: Sancerre, about 40 km away, overlooks the Loire and its Sauvignon Blanc slopes; closer to Bourges, Menetou-Salon makes whites and Pinot Noir reds. Crottin de Chavignol, a protected goat's cheese, is the classic match for a glass of white.
  • Noirlac Abbey, founded in 1136 south of Bourges, is a well-preserved Cistercian abbey, now a cultural centre.

For something sweet, forestines, filled sweets created in Bourges in the 19th century, make a lovely gift. For visitors from further afield, including Asia, the trip extends easily to Chambord and the Loire châteaux, or to Paris, and we drive you door to door.
