Tours and Saint-Pierre-des-Corps stations, Tours Val de Loire Airport
Tours has two stations. Tours station, on place du Général-Leclerc, is right in the centre, opposite the conference centre. Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, on the east side of the city, handles most TGV services: Tours station is a terminus, so many trains stop only at Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, which is linked to the centre by a shuttle train. By direct TGV, Paris-Montparnasse is about an hour away. Check your arrival station carefully and give your train number when you book: your chauffeur follows your actual arrival time.
Tours Val de Loire Airport (TUF) lies about 6 km north-north-east of the city. Its routes are mostly seasonal: in summer 2026 it offered flights to London Stansted, Marrakech and Dublin, among others. The schedule changes from season to season; for long-haul flights, most travellers use Paris-Charles de Gaulle, and we cover that journey at a fixed price (see the sample prices above).
Give your flight number when you book: your chauffeur tracks your actual landing time. As an option, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall or at the station with a name sign.
Good to know: work on the second tram line, due to open in late 2028 at the earliest, is changing traffic in several districts. Allow a little extra time to catch a train or a flight. You can follow your flight or train live on our flight tracking and train tracking pages.
Business travel, meetings and conferences (MICE)
The Palais des Congrès de Tours, long known as the Vinci, stands at 26 boulevard Heurteloup, directly opposite the station. Designed by Jean Nouvel and opened in 1993, it has three auditoriums, the François-Ier with about 2,000 seats, the Ronsard (700 seats) and the Descartes (350 seats), as well as many meeting rooms.
The Parc des Expositions, on avenue Camille-Chautemps in the south of the city, hosts trade fairs, concerts and sporting events, notably in its flexible Grand Hall; the site can hold up to 12,500 people. The Foire de Tours, the city's big spring fair, takes place there every year in early May and lasts about ten days. For a gala dinner or a seminar in the countryside, many châteaux and wine estates in Touraine also welcome groups.
For companies, agencies and event organisers:
- transfers between the stations, the airport, hotels and event venues, in sedans and vans;
- chauffeur by the hour or by the day, on request, for back-to-back meetings or château visits;
- corporate account with monthly invoicing and negotiated rates;
- Factur-X (EN 16931) electronic invoices and the carbon footprint of every ride, calculated with the ADEME method.

Extend your stay: Loire châteaux, wine and food
Tours sits at the heart of the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. One extra day after your meetings is enough to see some of the finest châteaux in France, door to door with a chauffeur.
- Old Tours: place Plumereau and its half-timbered houses, Saint-Gatien Cathedral, the Fine Arts Museum in the former archbishops' palace, the Basilica of Saint-Martin and the Olivier Debré contemporary art centre (CCC OD), opened in 2017.
- Villandry, about 15 km away: its terraced Renaissance gardens, including an ornamental kitchen garden, are among the most photographed in France.
- Amboise: the royal château overlooks the Loire; the Chapel of Saint-Hubert holds the tomb of Leonardo da Vinci, who spent his last years nearby at the Clos Lucé.
- Chenonceau, the "Ladies' Château", whose gallery spans the River Cher. It combines easily with Amboise in a single day.
- Chambord, further east in the Loir-et-Cher: the largest of the Loire châteaux, famous for its double-helix staircase. To the west, Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais, Ussé and Chinon round off the tour.
Touraine wines are best tasted where they are made: dry, sweet and sparkling Chenin Blanc in Vouvray and Montlouis-sur-Loire, about 10 km from Tours, and Cabernet Franc reds in Chinon and Bourgueil. At the table, look for rillettes de Tours, Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine goat's cheese and Tours nougat. The covered market, Les Halles de Tours, is the place to try them.
Travelling from further afield, including Asia? Royal heritage, fine wine and the French art of living make Touraine an ideal stop between Paris and the Atlantic coast. We then drive you on to Paris, Nantes or the airports, without changing vehicle.
