Dunkerque station and Lille-Lesquin Airport

Dunkerque station, a short walk from the centre, is the easiest way in from the capital: direct TGV trains reach Paris-Nord in about two hours. Give your train number when you book: your chauffeur follows your actual arrival time.

Dunkerque has no airport with scheduled flights. The nearest is Lille-Lesquin (LIL), about 90 km away by motorway. For long-haul flights, most travellers use Paris-Charles de Gaulle, and we cover that journey at a fixed price (see the sample prices above). Give your flight number when you book: your chauffeur tracks your actual landing time. As an option, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign.

Crossing the Channel? Ferries to Dover leave from the Port Est at Loon-Plage, west of the city; we can drop you off or pick you up there.

You can follow your flight or train live on our flight tracking and train tracking pages.

Business travel, meetings and conferences (MICE)

Dunkerque is France's third-largest port and a major industrial hub for energy, steel and logistics. Business trips are frequent here, between the station, city-centre hotels and port sites.

Facing the beach at Malo-les-Bains, the Kursaal conference centre, 7 bis place du Casino, can host up to 1,500 delegates. It has two large halls of 2,700 and 3,200 m², the Jean Bart auditorium (500 seats) and meeting rooms, some with sea views. In the city centre, the Halle aux Sucres, on the docks, has a 145-seat auditorium.

For companies, agencies and event organisers:

  • transfers between the station, the airport, hotels, the Kursaal and industrial sites, in sedans and vans;
  • chauffeur by the hour or by the day, on request, for back-to-back meetings;
  • corporate account with monthly invoicing and negotiated rates;
  • Factur-X (EN 16931) electronic invoices and the carbon footprint of every ride, calculated with the ADEME method.

For an event or regular volume, tell us what you need on our business and partners page.

Extend your stay: sea, history and Flanders around Dunkerque

One more day in the area after your meetings? Dunkerque combines the open sea, history and Flemish culture. A few ideas with a chauffeur.

  • The belfries: the 58-metre Saint-Éloi belfry looks out over the port and the sea, and its carillon has 48 bells. Together with the town hall belfry, it is part of the Belfries of Belgium and France, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005.
  • The memory of 1940: from 26 May to 4 June 1940, Operation Dynamo evacuated some 338,000 Allied soldiers to England. The Dunkirk 1940 Museum, housed in Bastion 32, tells the story of those days. At low tide, wrecks can still be seen on the beach between Zuydcoote and Bray-Dunes.
  • Contemporary art: the LAAC, set in a sculpture garden, and the FRAC Grand Large, designed by Lacaton & Vassal in 2013 as a twin of a former port hall. The Port Museum tells the story of the harbour and its trades.
  • Malo-les-Bains: a long sandy beach, the seafront promenade and its early 20th-century seaside villas.
  • Bergues, about 9 km away: a small fortified town whose belfry is also UNESCO-listed, made famous in France by the film « Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis ».
  • Cassel: perched on a 176-metre hill, with its Grand'Place and windmill, voted France's favourite village in 2018. Bruges, in Belgium, is also an easy day trip.

The carnival is the city's signature event: from January into spring, balls and street parades (the « bandes ») fill the streets; the high point, the Trois Joyeuses, falls around Shrove Tuesday, with herrings thrown from the town hall balcony. At the table, enjoy mussels and chips, regional beers and Flemish dishes such as potjevleesch or carbonade. For visitors from further afield, including Asia, the trip extends easily to Lille, Bruges or Paris, and we drive you door to door.
