Paris-CDG Airport, Reims station and Champagne-Ardenne TGV

Reims has no airport with scheduled flights, so most international visitors land at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), north-east of Paris, and continue to Champagne on the A4 motorway. Transfers between CDG and central Reims, or between Reims station and the airport, are charged at a fixed price (see the sample prices above).

Give your flight number when you book: your chauffeur follows your actual arrival time. As an option, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign.

Reims railway station, on esplanade François-Mitterrand, is a few minutes' walk from Place d'Erlon. Since the LGV Est high-speed line opened in 2007, direct TGVs have reached Paris-Est in about 45 minutes. Some 5 km south-west, in Bezannes, Champagne-Ardenne TGV station is served by tram line B; some TGVs run from there directly to CDG airport in around 30 minutes, as well as to Lille, Strasbourg, Nantes, Rennes and Bordeaux. Give your train number when you book. You can follow your flight or train live on our flight tracking and train tracking pages.

Business travel, meetings and conferences (MICE)

Just 45 minutes from Paris by TGV, Reims draws conferences, trade fairs and corporate events. The Centre des Congrès, 12 boulevard Général-Leclerc, beside the canal, a short walk from the station, has two auditoriums with 350 and 700 seats, twelve meeting rooms and three exhibition areas.

The exhibition centre has been renovated and enlarged: a new, naturally lit hall that can be split in two now stands beside the refurbished original hall, for about 23,000 m² in all; it reopened in 2021. The Reims Arena, opened in 2022, holds up to 9,000 people, or about 4,500 in conference layout. All three venues are run by Reims Events (GL events).

For companies, agencies and event organisers:

  • transfers between CDG airport, the stations, hotels, event venues and champagne houses, in sedans and vans;
  • chauffeur by the hour or by the day for cellar visits, a roadshow or back-to-back meetings;
  • corporate account with monthly invoicing and negotiated rates;
  • Factur-X (EN 16931) electronic invoices and the carbon footprint of every ride, calculated with the ADEME method.

For an event or regular volume, tell us what you need on our business and partners page.

Extend your stay: champagne, heritage and fine food around Reims

Reims is the city of coronations and the capital of champagne. A meeting on Friday, one more day in the area: with a chauffeur at your disposal, you can enjoy the tastings without worrying about driving. A few ideas:

  • Notre-Dame Cathedral, a 13th-century Gothic masterpiece where most French kings were crowned. Look for the Smiling Angel on the west front and Marc Chagall's stained-glass windows (1974) in the axial chapel. Together with the Palais du Tau, the former archbishops' palace, and the former Abbey of Saint-Remi, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991.
  • The champagne houses of Saint-Nicaise hill: Ruinart, Veuve Clicquot, Pommery, Taittinger and Charles Heidsieck age their wines in old chalk quarries, the crayères, dug beneath the city. Most tours must be booked in advance and usually end with a tasting. The Champagne Hillsides, Houses and Cellars have been on the UNESCO list since 2015.
  • Épernay and the Avenue de Champagne, about 30 km south: the grand façades of houses such as Moët & Chandon and Mercier, with kilometres of cellars beneath the avenue, which is also UNESCO-listed.
  • Hautvillers and the Montagne de Reims: the village where the monk Dom Pérignon worked at the abbey, set among vines above the Marne valley; the Verzenay lighthouse standing in the vineyards, and the Faux de Verzy, a rare forest of twisted beech trees.
  • Art Deco and remembrance: rebuilt after the First World War, Reims has many Art Deco façades and the Carnegie Library. The Museum of the Surrender, where Germany signed its surrender on 7 May 1945, reopened in May 2026 after renovation.
  • Local flavours: the pink Reims biscuit, made for dipping in a glass of champagne, Reims ham, Reims mustard, and several Michelin-starred restaurants.

Highlights of the year: the Flâneries Musicales classical music festival in June and July, the Relais du Goût food festival in September, the Sunnyside jazz festival in October and the Christmas market in December. In 2026, Reims celebrates 800 years since Saint Louis was crowned in the cathedral on 29 November 1226.
