Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airports, Versailles stations
Paris-Orly Airport (ORY) is the closest to Versailles, about 20 km to the east. Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), north-east of Paris, handles most long-haul flights: the journey crosses the Paris area and its length depends heavily on traffic. Either way, allow extra time at rush hour.
Give your flight number when you book: your chauffeur tracks your actual landing time. As an option, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign.
Versailles has three main stations. Versailles-Chantiers, the largest, reaches Paris-Montparnasse in about fifteen minutes by direct train and is also served by regional trains to Chartres and Normandy. Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche, the end of RER line C, is the closest to the Palace. Versailles-Rive-Droite has trains to Paris-Saint-Lazare. Give your train number when you book: your chauffeur follows your actual arrival time.
You can follow your flight or train live on our flight tracking and train tracking pages.
Business travel, meetings and conferences (MICE)
Versailles, the administrative capital of the Yvelines, hosts many seminars and conferences, close to Paris and La Défense. The Versailles Palais des Congrès, 10 rue de la Chancellerie, right opposite the Palace, offers some 3,200 m² of space and 14 flexible rooms; its Richelieu amphitheatre seats up to 1,008, balcony included.
The luxury hotels on the edge of the park and the great venues of the estate also host gala dinners and board meetings.
For companies, agencies and event organisers:
- transfers between the airports, the stations, hotels and event venues, in sedans and vans;
- chauffeur by the hour or by the day, on request, for back-to-back meetings between Versailles, Paris and La Défense;
- corporate account with monthly invoicing and negotiated rates;
- Factur-X (EN 16931) electronic invoices and the carbon footprint of every ride, calculated with the ADEME method.
For an event or regular volume, tell us what you need on our business and partners page.
Extend your stay: the Palace, the gardens and great sights around Versailles
One more day after your meetings? Versailles is one of the most popular visits for travellers from all over the world, Asia included. A few ideas with a chauffeur, for lovers of history, gardens and the French art of living.
- The Palace and its gardens: a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979, with the Hall of Mirrors, the State Apartments, the Grand Canal and the groves laid out by André Le Nôtre. The Palace is closed on Mondays, so plan your visit accordingly.
- The Trianon estate: the Grand and Petit Trianon, then the Queen's Hamlet, where Marie-Antoinette liked to retreat. The park is vast: your chauffeur drops you off and picks you up at the entrance that suits you.
- The Musical Fountains Shows (Grandes Eaux Musicales): in the warmer months (from April to early November in 2026), the garden fountains play to music. On Saturday evenings from June to September, the Night Fountains Show ends with fireworks.
- The royal town: the Notre-Dame market and its covered halls, the Saint-Louis quarter and its cathedral, the antique dealers and the King's Kitchen Garden (Potager du Roi), created for Louis XIV, where fruit and vegetables are still grown.
- Giverny: Claude Monet's house and gardens, with the famous water-lily pond, on the edge of Normandy.
- Chartres: its Gothic cathedral and stained glass, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Fontainebleau: another royal château on the UNESCO list, set in a great forest.
Shopping, luxury houses and fine dining: Paris is close by, door to door.
