Amiens station and the airports around Amiens
Amiens station, on place Alphonse-Fiquet, is a few minutes' walk from the centre. The fastest direct trains reach Paris-Nord in just over an hour, and other services run to Lille, Rouen, Calais and Boulogne. TGV Haute-Picardie station, on the Paris–Lille high-speed line, is about 40 km away. Give your train number when you book: your chauffeur follows your actual arrival time.
The nearest airport with scheduled flights is Paris-Beauvais (BVA), in Tillé, about 50 km south-west of Amiens as the crow flies. France's ninth-busiest airport, it handled some 6.7 million passengers in 2025, mostly on low-cost flights to European destinations. For long-haul flights, travellers use Paris-Charles de Gaulle, about 100 km away; Lille-Lesquin is a similar distance.
Give your flight number when you book: your chauffeur tracks your actual landing time. As an option, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. You can follow your flight or train live on our flight tracking and train tracking pages.
Business travel, meetings and conferences (MICE)
Mégacité, on avenue de l'Hippodrome, is Amiens' main events venue: 10,000 m² of exhibition halls, two auditoriums with 985 and 356 seats, and eight meeting rooms. It can host a conference of nearly 1,900 delegates and stages more than 200 events a year. The Zénith d'Amiens arena and the Stade de la Licorne are close by.
Amiens is also a university city and the administrative centre of the Somme: meetings, academic panels and business appointments often fit into a single day, with a return to Paris or an airport the same evening.
For companies, agencies and event organisers:
- transfers between the station, the airports, hotels and Mégacité, in sedans and vans;
- chauffeur by the hour or by the day, on request, for back-to-back meetings or site visits;
- corporate account with monthly invoicing and negotiated rates;
- Factur-X (EN 16931) electronic invoices and the carbon footprint of every ride, calculated with the ADEME method.

Extend your stay: heritage, water gardens and remembrance around Amiens
One more day in the area after your meetings? Amiens combines outstanding Gothic heritage, gardens on the water and, all around, the great remembrance sites of the Somme. A few ideas with a chauffeur.
- Notre-Dame Cathedral, begun in 1220 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981, is the largest Gothic cathedral in France: some 200,000 m³ beneath vaults more than 42 m high. In summer and at the end of the year, the free Chroma show restores the façade's original colours at nightfall. The 52-metre belfry has also been on the UNESCO list since 2005.
- The hortillonnages: about 300 hectares of gardens and canals right in the city, best explored by traditional boat from April to October. From late May to mid-October, the International Garden Festival fills them with landscape designers' creations. The Saint-Leu quarter, with its colourful waterside houses, is the ideal starting point.
- Jules Verne's house: the writer settled in Amiens in the early 1870s and served on the city council; his home is now a museum.
- First World War remembrance sites: east of the city, the Australian National Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux and its Sir John Monash Centre, opened in 2018. Near the Bay of the Somme, the Nolette Chinese Cemetery in Noyelles-sur-Mer is the largest Chinese cemetery in France, where more than 800 workers of the Chinese Labour Corps are buried. It is an important place of remembrance for visitors from China.
- The Bay of the Somme and Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, where William the Conqueror set sail for England in 1066; the bay's heritage railway links it with Le Crotoy and Noyelles-sur-Mer.
- The Château de Chantilly, on the way to Paris, with the Musée Condé, its old master paintings and its 18th-century Great Stables.
For local flavours, try Amiens macarons, the ficelle picarde (a savoury filled crêpe) and flamiche, a leek tart. At the end of the year, from 20 November to 30 December 2026, the Christmas market lines some 2 km of streets in the centre. The trip extends easily to Paris, Lille or the Opal Coast, and we drive you door to door.
